Advocacy and special advice service

We provide a national advocacy and specialist advice service for non-abusing parents and carers across England and Wales who have specific queries and need longer term support.

To access this service, please call our free national helpline: 0800 980 1958.

Lines are open daily from 10am to 2pm (Monday, Thursday and Friday) and 10am to 6pm (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Support through the legal justice system

We know that sexual abuse can happen to anyone, irrespective of their background. And we know that not everyone has access to support and services to help them navigate and understand the legal justice system. Our national advocacy service can help you during this difficult time.

• We can provide guidance on specific queries on topics including child arrangements orders, housing and criminal proceedings
• We can help you understand the legal justice system
• We can help you know your rights and what to expect
• Our volunteers may be able to provide court support for families expecting a criminal trial

To access or find out more about our free advocacy service, please call our helpline.

“Thank you so much for taking the time to put together such a comprehensive and supportive letter. I really appreciate your efforts to support our application, in which you have provided such a detailed explanation of why it is of vital importance we be rehoused.”
