Services

Advocacy Service

Advocacy is a type of support that enables you to say what you think, have your voice heard, and make decisions. Mosac provides a free confidential service to support you through civil, criminal and/or Child Protection proceedings. They work with you to promote your rights and interests, consider your options and have your views respected. We aim to empower and encourage you, as far as practical, to take the lead in securing the rights to which you are entitled. We encourage you to speak up for yourself or can act as your spokesperson to assist you gaining access to services and facilities which you might not otherwise find easy to obtain.

Befriending Service

Outreach befriending volunteers provide free, regular one-to-one support to listen, empathise, and enable. Each befriending partnership is unique and support can help you with day-to-day hassles or specific issues affecting you and your family. They will work along side you if you and family are facing major life changes and/or difficult choices. Volunteers provide information, practical and emotional support that will help build confidence to enable you to better support you and your family.
